The Self-Advocacy Training and Support program is an 8-week class designed to help transition age youth (14 - 25) build general self-advocacy skills and learn how to navigate the Home and Community Based Waiver system.
Two types of classes are offered: in-person and virtual.

Self-Advocates Minnesota (SAM) is a network of self-advocacy groups from all around the state to promote the rights, leadership, and full inclusion of all disabled people.
Each region works with its member groups to build personal power, connect to the disability rights movement and make community changes.

Nurse Advocate Services help individuals living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder gain the life skills needed to increase independence and promote well-being.
Autism Spectrum Disorder Nurse Advocate Services include, but not limited to:
* Individualized Education Plan (IEP) support
* Resource navigation of county and state resources
* Life skills coaching
* Healthy living and well-being education
* Personal assistance with hygiene and household maintenance
* Grocery shopping assistance, meal preparation and nutritional meal planning
* Attend medical appointments as requested
* Medical management education
* Employment goals support
* Help with socialization and community engagement
Provides services in homes, in the community or remotely
