Services for People with HIV/AIDS
Support for people who are living with, or affected by Human Immunodeficiency Virus / Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS)
Provides services to people of African descent who are living with, or affected by Human Immunodeficiency Virus / Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (HIV/AIDS)
All services are fully integrated into a continuum of HIV prevention and care designed to provide individuals with full access to all services the agency offers.
Current services include, but may not be limited to:
* HIV counseling, testing and referrals
* HIV health education/risk reduction
* Prevention education/harm reduction
* AIDS drug assistance program
* Medical Transportation assistance
* Culturally specific emotional support groups (men and women)
* Medical case management
* Mental health access
* Technical assistance and counseling services
* Eliminating health disparities initiative

* Community support for individuals, couples, and families experiencing loss, abuse, or HIV/AIDS.
* Grief counseling
* Assessments and anger management
* Chemical health assessments
* Relapse prevention therapy
* Cultural specific therapy, especially with the Sudanese and Somali refugee communities
* AIDS/HIV prevention
