The Vial of Life is designed to speak for you when you can't speak for yourself. The vial contains important medical information that can help emergency responders in giving you proper medical treatment.
The vial is kept on the refrigerator door, it contains vital information about allergies, recurrent ailments and dosage requirements; emergency notification instructions; hospital of choice; and doctor's name and telephone number.
Paramedics, ambulance attendants and other emergency personnel are alerted to the availability of the information by an adhesive decal (sticker) on the outside of the refrigerator.
