Rental assistance in the form of Section 8 Housing Vouchers to help low income households pay for private, market-rate rental units
Government-funded program (also known as Section 8 vouchers) that provides rental assistance to eligible seniors, singles, families, and persons with disabilities to secure affordable housing. This Housing Authority agency accepts applications to the program and issues the vouchers to qualified applicants. This agency also makes the approved rental subsidy payment to the landlord. Participants will pay approximately 30% of their income for rent and are able to take the voucher with them if they move.

The Supported Housing for Youth (SHY) Program helps homeless youth ages 16 - 24 by providing housing counseling and financial assistance.
Each young person is paired with an Independent Living Counselor who acts as their mentor. The pair can meet in person as often as needed – usually weekly. Together, the pair develop goals and plans for the young person's life.
