Provides a monetary amount to patients with cancer going through treatment, preventative care or hospice care. Funds can be received every six months if still in treatment.
Qualified recipients can use the funds as needed to help with medical bills, medications, travel expenses for treatment, groceries, home or utility expenses.
Aid relies on donations and local community fundraisers. All proceeds received stay in Kanabec County to help cancer patients in need.
A statewide cancer resource list is available by mail upon request.
