The Minnesota Elder Justice Center provides free advocacy services for victims of vulnerable adult and elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
Victim advocacy services include:
* Supportive listening
* Help with complicated systems and processes
* Making a plan for the future
* Related victim advocacy services
* Legal service supports and referrals
* Limited pro bono legal representation in some circumstances
Provides professional training and community education presentations throughout Minnesota on elder or vulnerable adult abuse, neglect and financial exploitation

Program that works on behalf of individuals and/or groups to make sure that they receive the benefits and services for which they are eligible

Offers person-centered advocacy specifically for adults 50 and over
An advocate is available to meet in-home or in another safe location of the client's choosing. They can meet with a client and caregivers or support people if desired, over the course of several weeks or months to help each person achieve his or her personal goals for safety and well-being.
Services provided:
* Navigating legal systems and finding reduced-cost legal assistance
* Arranging transportation to meetings and appointments
* Helping explore housing options
* Offering resources for financial assistance
* Connecting with government and community programs for additional services
* Offering emotional support and support groups
